My Jesus ... today thought of the day you called your first disciples ... Luke tells us that you were walking along the shore of Lake Gennesaret when you saw a boat and a crowd gathered to listen to your word ... I went up to one , that of Peter ... and from there they preached the coming of the Kingdom ... must have been fascinating to meet you, get lost in your eyes and listen to your words ... what a privilege that of those men!
Lucas goes on to say that after preaching, you told remaran fishermen thrown to sea and fishing nets ... they had caught nothing that day ... still, you did what you said ... and how great was their surprise, the while net filled broke! ... imagine, took two boats to take all the fish!
But everything that happened that day, most surprises me is that this event might seem "simple" to those who know nothing about fishing ... it was a great miracle before the eyes of those humble fishermen ... was there in the simple, everyday of their lives, where they found your omnipotence and wisdom ... and acknowledging their littleness before your majesty ...
My Lord ... I ask you tonight that I too can find in my daily life ... you can recognize your greatness in every event that happens to me ... I can see your providential hand guiding my every step ... I do not ever stop to amaze me that You've set your sights on a poor sinner like me ... and like Peter, Andrew, James and John, always willing to follow where you want to take ...
Good night ...

My dear Romuald,
There were many steps I took on that shore, many men who came in my way and many who heard my words. There are also many that I have called over the centuries and many have decided to follow. You know what? Each of these calls has been intimate and individual, because every soul and every heart is unique and unrepeatable. That's why it hurts so much when you lose any of my children.
You are also unique and special to me. That's why I asked you to set aside a portion of your time to meet me in prayer and together we go to work on those things that you should improve. I want you to grow in holiness and every day that passes you try to be more like me. That is your fate and that of all men, to become my image.
Do not worry, I know that change is occurring slowly. Look at Peter, three years went by my side and at the time of the test, wavered. But he acknowledged his mistake and let grace act on it. After that day was dying little by little rough and impetuous character, his cowardice and his ego. And the day that the Holy Spirit came upon him at the Last Supper, his heart was ready to receive him. So I also want you to be transformed by his action.
Remember I'm always by your side. Come, tell me and tell me how you feel. Fear not, I love you and want you to be happy.
I hope I am,
Jesus
