My beloved Jesus ... how beautiful is open your eyes to a new year and feel loved by you ... thanks for the moments we shared last night, the family, as we waited for the clock chimes sounded at 12 ... thanks because every hug ... every kiss ... and every good wish ... you were pouring your love and blessings ... thank you, my Lord, for the privilege of feeling "your friend" ... and thanks for that desire to be "better" than put it in my heart ...
As I told our friends I have thirst for you. org ... that "being better" do not we measure whether we have progressed more or economically ... but if we grew in our love to you ... if we become better husbands, better fathers, better sons, best friends ... well, this will be a good year if in the end we can say that we are better people ... if we have grown in holiness ... what a task that we propose, Lord!
Today the Church celebrates Mary ... that humble woman of Nazareth where you wanted to collect all the virtues and all graces ... and then, Lord, after you called Mother! What better model for inspiration on this day that the greatest of all creatures!
Therefore, O Lord my God ... and I ask you to allow me to start this year at the hands of Mary ... remembering that she was beginning ... and helping me to be gentle to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit ... so that, like her, you can always say 'yes' to your holy will ... and so can incarnate in my heart this morning and every year is starting ...
