It is wonderful, Lord! Be open arms, when so many mutilated. My eyes see, when so many without electricity. My singing voice, when so many who are silent. My hands that work, when so many begging. It's wonderful to come home when so many do not have to go.
I live, love, smile and sleep, others cry, hate and stir into nightmares. Having a God in whom to believe when so many do not feel comfort, and have faith.
For all that ... thank you very much, Lord!
How I loved this sentence! I liked it because it helped me be aware of how much you have given me ... how privileged I have been ... and how little I appreciate ...
It's funny ... well, I've learned that things do not happen by "chance" when we are holding your hand ... but this sentence is perfect for the conversation we had a few days ago when we talked about the scare with the explosion at the refinery, and discomfort from the smoke and traffic on the days that followed ... and how seldom we think of those people living in the middle of a battlefield ... for us this was an inconvenience for a few days ... but there are people who have never known what a night's sleep in peace ... there are children who have only known fear and anxiety, living tormented by the noise of the crash and thump ... or worse, by the memory of the war ...
Lord, how easy is our life! ... How easy and how little we appreciate the blessings you have given us! ... So today I want to thank you for everything ... and ask you to always make me aware that any of this is mine, but everything is a gift that comes from you ...
