Merry Christmas

by Romualdo on 12.25.2008

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld his glory ... "

Lord ... what a wonderful mystery unfolds before our eyes today! ... You, the eternal Word, who is stripped of his divinity to become one of us ... Lord, how much love you have loved us! ... So small and helpless ... the Owner was all born with nothing ... that is in thy poverty, we found the merciful face of God ...

Mystery of mysteries, Lord ... that in this humble and dirty stable in the cold of the night and the smell of animals, the expected Messiah was born without wealth ... ... rough ... unpretentious ... only with the immense love your Most Holy Mother and the warmth of San Jose father ... would have to be blind not to understand that in media that lack, were you, giving you everything entirely to us ...

I confess that I feel sad tonight ... yes, I know that this is a glorious night and should batter of joy ... but I can not ... you know ... I wanted to offer this year a beautiful shiny silver spoon where you could be comfortable and accommodate for all ... how much ... how much would have liked Lord! ... however, my beloved Jesus, I can only offer my poor heart, dirty for the weaknesses of my past life ... smelly for a life of sin away from You ... with cold neglect and indifference ... my tired and battered by both escape Your Love and Mercy ...

Lord, I wish I could give you as much ... but I have so little to offer ... more You, O Lord my God ... you're happy with that little bit that I offer ... and like that first Christmas in Bethlehem, so snuggle you today in this small reserving corner for you ... what a shame that so find me!

You know ... this made me remember the story of the ragged tent Sister Briege McKenna counted ... yes, that's how I feel! ... and like she finally discovered that I also tried to mend my heart for myself instead of let's you who do it for me ... thank you Jesus, thank You that I can finally understand why I feel so ... so, tonight I want to ask me the grace to do for you ... to let's you who heals and restore my tattered heart ...

My good Jesus, today is Christmas Day ... it would be wrong to end this talk without asking for my friends and relatives ... also for all those people who come to read this humble journal, and the other things I write on I have thirst for you ... nor to them I have nothing to offer ... just a humble prayer asking that you bless this day and grant them all the graces they need to get closer to you ... if I may, I would do with the beautiful prayer you put into Chloe West my hands on Tuesday ...

My prayer for you this Christmas
By Chloe West

Hello. I am writing to you with great affection. No gift could fill the hearts of so many blessings as you deserve. So this Christmas I offer a prayer: I pray to Him who knows all of us to give you the best of the best.

As He has a heart of gold and knows everything we need, want to give us many spiritual treasures.

First, I pray that you happiness, happiness is not motivated by an event or a highly sought acquisition, but a deep and constant that does not depend on anything happening out of the ordinary. The Bible calls it joy, and that is my prayer for you: you have a lasting joy even when circumstances are not ideal.

Then ask you to have inner peace. Do not think: "How boring!" Because I do not mean a monotonous life, a sense of emptiness or a lack of activity and stimulation. I want you to rest assured that everything is in God's hands and that He will not let anything happen to you that the two can not solve. This certainty will allow you to remain calm even when you're working hard or under pressure. It is a deep peace that can only come from our Creator.

My prayer request would be incomplete if you do not miss faith. Some people think that faith is blind to reality, optimistic, refusing to face facts. But the true faith, that I desire, is based on three magnificent realities: God, His love and His promises. For her know that God only wants the best for you and which is able to materialize. You can buy that kind of faith by reading His Word in your heart and discovering the security that is true. That is the faith that moves mountains.

I ask God to enlighten you, to observe life around you and then rises into the sky and found there the solutions, explanations and guidance you need, to give you wisdom, patience and faith in others, and you guidance in difficult times.

Finally, I pray that you love in your life: love intense, overflowing love, patient love, love, wise, tender love, love, fun, exciting love, love decided, constant love, strong love, love encouraging the love of God in their thousand and one fascinating aspects.

God came to earth as a newborn precisely that: to give us happiness, peace, faith, solutions and, most importantly, love.

So my prayer is that this Christmas experience this more so than ever. You give your life to fit into the Child and His message, you receive in your heart to Jesus, believe His promises and discover all the wonders that you have booked.

I ask all this to you because I know that Jesus wants to give it anyway, because He loves you, and me too.

Good night ...
and Merry Christmas, my Jesus!

Some particular months ago a project that had been hanging around the head and thus was born the Boat, perhaps 1 ° global Blog by and for divorced Catholics of all new union in the world.
Our project is spread across 23 countries and is designed only to serve, for that reason news broadcasts pastoral movements or groups that deal with the problem of those who live in this situation defined as "irregular" and that despite the nearly 30 years the encyclical Familiaris Consortio, the true gift of Pope John Paul II, there are still those of us claiming to be alienated from the church, probably due to ignorance.
From our blog also are promoting the International Day of divorced Catholics in New Union to be held worldwide on 1st Sunday of May, with the same conviction that we accept the submission to the external forum (Ecclesiastical Courts) and the spiritual communion (by our inability to access the Eucharist)
Therefore we hope to visit us and we send all comments and all the information they want, and that the boat is an open space, mainly container and gracious, not censorship no opinion.
We wait.
