under the eyes of Christianity, our identity is the identity of Christ, for our old man has been crucified (Gal. 2:20). The cry for mercy to our lives is essential, but also recognize the great things our God has done for us. I think when we look, does not focus on our faults, but is happy as we strive to live a meaningful life and delivery. When we look, we see ourselves but Christ who took our place. Brethren, God has left traces of his work in thousands of holy people who have gone through life being a reflection of Christ. His example helps us stay on track.
